It is an honor and privilege to serve as the new principal of Lewisville Middle School, home of the Lions!  I have worked as an educator in Chester County School District for twelve years serving the Great Falls, Chester, and now Lewisville attendance areas.  Within those twelve years I have served as a Resource and Inclusion Reading and Math Teacher for fifth - eighth grade at Great Falls Middle School, an Emotionally Disabled Teacher for kindergarten - fifth grade at Cheater Park Center of Literacy through Technology, and an Assistant Principal for Cheater Park Center of Literacy through Technology and Chester Park Elementary School of Inquiry.  I served as the 2005-2006 District Teacher of the Year, I served on the Board of Directors for the Chester County Public Education Foundation, I am a former Chairman of the Chester County Teacher Forum, and I created the very first Summer Reading Program for elementary schools in Chester County.  My greatest effort up to this point would be that of serving as principal for this world class institute of learning!

I look forward to the great adventures of teaching & learning as we take our Lewisville Lions to the next level of academic excellence.  Together we can & together we will!

If there is anything I can do for you, our students, or community please do not hesitate to contact me.

    Yours in Education,

    Brian A. Edmond, Ed.S

I am no stranger to hard work and dedication when it comes to educating students, having spent 23 years as an educator in the Chester County School District. I have previously served as a kindergarten, K-1 Transition, 1st and 2nd grade teacher as well as a Reading Coach. I am a Microsoft Innovative Educator and have coordinated tutoring programs and reading buddy mentoring programs. My extracurricular activities include attending sporting events, driving field trips and coaching cheerleading (middle & high) for 13 years.

My educational accomplishments include B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University in 1993, Masters in Early Childhood Education from USC in 1995 and Masters in Educational Leadership from Winthrop University in 2012.
